Throughout the
years these are some of the companies and facilities
that we at JRM Engineering have provided our service
for. If you have any questions regarding an upcoming

free to contact us. Jack R. Morgan Engineering, Inc.
has performed much of the electrical engineering design
in the Northeast Alabama area for the past forty years.
Our projects vary in nature from church sanctuaries,
schools and school additions, to restaurants, tire
manufacturing facilities and wastewater treatment
plants. A brief listing of past projects is given
below.

Four
gymnasiums for the Etowah County Board of Education at
Gaston, Hokes Bluff, Glencoe, and Sardis (Electrical
contract value $1.1 million).

A new
school at Beulah for the Lee County Board of Education
(Electrical contract value approximately $1.1 million)

Health Sciences Facility for Southern Union Community
College, Opelika (Electrical contract value $1.2
million)

New
schools at Springville and Odenville for the St. Clair
County Board of Education (Electrical contract value
approximately $.9 million each)

Renaissance Center for the Performing Arts, Southern
Union Community College, Wadley AL

Claude M. Elrod Science/Technology Building at Snead
State Community College (Boaz, AL)

Etowah County Courthouse renovation (approximate
contract value $1 million)

New
finished water pumping facility for Gadsden Water
Works Board. This project included the design of a
new 2300 volt, delta connected service complete with
all required relays, circuit protection and a high
resistance grounding unit. We also installed a line
recloser to the remaining overhead service to
eliminate nuisance tripping and provide additional
safety and overcurrent device coordination.

A new
wastewater treatment facility for Leesburg Water and
Waste. This project included design elements such as
required control and power conduits/duct banks, motor
control centers, variable frequency drives, surge
suppression and site lighting.

A new
manufacturing facility for Probst Pharmaceuticals.
This project involved the design of a 12 kV
distribution system for the facility as well as the
design for all electrical within the plant. This
project required a high degree of coordination with
the various specialized equipment manufacturers to
insure that proper electrical service and control were
provided.

A new
46kV distribution substation for the M&H Valve Company
in Anniston,AL. Included complete structural design,
equipment specifications, coordination study and field
inspection services. Substation was designed and
constructed on schedule and within project budget
constraints.
